Anime fans have plenty to look forward to this October, with several upcoming anime seasons, movie announcements, and reported Hindi-dub releases making headlines. From Sakamoto Days Season 2 and I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World Season 2 to the upcoming finale of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, there are multiple updates worth following.
For Indian anime fans, reported October Hindi-dub schedules and theatrical anime releases are also generating interest. However, some dates and availability details mentioned in circulating reports still require confirmation from official sources.
Here are the major anime updates to know about as of October 17, 2026.
1. A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 Hindi Dub Update
Hindi-dub viewers may want to keep an eye on A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2. Reports suggest that Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubbed episodes may begin rolling out from October 17, 2026.
However, the reported schedule has not been independently verified through an official announcement. Viewers should check the anime’s official Crunchyroll page for available audio languages and episode releases.
What Indian viewers should know: The availability of Hindi audio should be confirmed separately, as a regional dub announcement does not automatically establish that every listed language is available.
2. I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World Season 2 Reportedly Set for January 2027
Fans of isekai anime have another potential highlight to look forward to. I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too is reported to be returning with Season 2 in January 2027.
The supplied announcement details also mention a promotional video, a new key visual, and the introduction of characters Iris Knowblade and Mai Kagurazaka. Studio Millepensee is also reported to be returning for the new season.
The second season could bring new developments to the protagonist’s journey, particularly with additional characters joining the story.
Release status: January 2027 is the reported premiere window. Check official anime channels for the latest confirmed broadcast details and any information about international streaming or Hindi dubbing.
3. Sakamoto Days Season 2: New Characters and More Action
Sakamoto Days fans may have a new season to anticipate, with reports pointing to a January 2027 return.
The supplied information also mentions a character trailer introducing Etsuko Satoda, Amane Yotsumura, and Satoru Yatsumura.
One of the series’ biggest attractions is its combination of action, comedy, and the contrast between Taro Sakamoto’s peaceful family life and his dangerous past as a legendary assassin. Season 2 could offer more opportunities to explore the series’ characters and expand its action-packed world.
Release status: The January 2027 premiere window and the reported character-trailer details should be checked against official Sakamoto Days channels before being treated as fully confirmed.
4. BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Approaches Its Reported Finale
BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is another major title attracting attention.
According to the supplied reports, a new trailer for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity has been released and described as “THE LAST PV.”
The same information lists the following Japanese broadcast dates:
- Episode 49: October 19, 2026
- Episode 50: October 26, 2026 — reported TV anime finale
If confirmed, these episodes will mark an important milestone in the current Thousand-Year Blood War adaptation.
It is important to distinguish between the finale of this anime arc and the end of the entire BLEACH franchise. These are not necessarily the same thing.
Indian viewers should also check their preferred streaming platform for local availability, as Japanese broadcast dates do not automatically confirm Indian streaming dates.
5. Reported Crunchyroll India October Dub Schedule
Hindi-dub anime remains an important topic for Indian viewers, especially those who prefer watching new releases in their local language.
The supplied reports mention the following October 2026 schedule for several anime titles.
| Anime title | Reported date |
|---|---|
| A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 | October 17, 2026 |

| Firefly Wedding | October 30, 2026 |
Important: This is a reported schedule, not a fully verified official release calendar. The titles, dates, and language options should be checked against official Crunchyroll announcements and individual title listings.
A regional dub may refer to a language other than Hindi, so viewers should confirm the exact audio track before expecting a Hindi-dubbed release.
6. Doraemon Movie Reportedly Crosses ₹24 Crore in India
The supplied box-office information puts the estimated Indian collection of Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil at approximately ₹24.24 crore.
The information also mentions an October 2, 2026, Indian theatrical release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
If the collection figure is supported by a reliable box-office source, it would be an interesting indicator of the audience for anime films in Indian theatres.
However, the reported collection should not be treated as an officially confirmed final total without a verifiable source. Box-office estimates can vary between reporting outlets, and the figure may change as additional data becomes available.
